    Hi,

What traffic sources do you’s use to promote affiliate products? Do you use Ads, like Facebook and Google ads, or stick to organic traffic? If so, what sources?

P.S. I understand best source can change depending on the niche.

    Thanks!

It’s a matter of high quality vs low quality traffic. Advertisers prefer high quality and may kick you out if you bring in traffic that doesn’t convert.

In this regard, the source of traffic doesn’t matter as much as if the people you are sending over to the affiliate link would be interested in the offer.

So, if you are sending from ads, make sure the ads the page is on is content related to the product, and say, if you are sending organically from social media, like a group you have made, make sure the group is related.

In this case, either type of source may then work.

Can you further explain the difference between low quality and high quality traffic?

Traffic just means the people you are sending to a different web page.

Low quality traffic is people who would not convert and purchase as they would never be interested in that offer. Advertisers hate this, as they are paying you for traffic that will never convert, if they were paying you by quantity of traffic instead of each sale conversion.

Advertisers love high quality traffic though, which is good for both parties, as they will get more sales and you will get more money from more people converting. High quality traffic is people who would be interested in buying the affiliate offer.

It is all a common sense thing really. You are wasting time if you are sending people to an offer they will not be interested in.

    Thanks Azura, that makes sense.

I shouldn’t be stressing about the source of my traffic, and just whether it converts, and converts at a rate where I still make a return if using paid traffic 🙂

    Thank you Azura 🙂

That makes sense, it’s really just whether you’re sending traffic (people) that is interested in the niche the offer is in.
