You’ll find tonnes of icons on your hosting account dashboard, but most of them can be safely ignored. 95% of them you’ll never use.

But there is one icon that we are interested in. The WordPress icon.

Click on it to be taken to the BlueHost WordPress quick install screen. Next, click on the “Get Started” button to continue.

On this screen, you’ll be asked to select the domain name that you want to install WordPress on. Pick the domain you chose earlier, and then click next.

Now you’ll need to enter the name of your new blog, an admin username and a password. Don’t worry, if you want to change your mind later, all of these can be changed in the WordPress settings.

You’ll also need to check all the checkboxes on the screen, and then click on the “Install” button to continue.

Quick install will now start installing WordPress on your website. Meanwhile, you’ll be shown some themes that you can install on your blog.

You don’t need to worry about this now, as we’ll show you how to find awesome WordPress themes and install them later on.

Once the isntallation is over, you’ll see a success message in the BlueHost site header.

Click on the “Installation Complete” link and you’ll be taken to a screen with your WordPress login URL and credentials.

Congratulations! You have created your first WordPress website, and are well on your way to making it a fully-fledged blog!

You will now be able to head over to your admin login page, and sign-in to see the inner-workings of a WordPress blog.

Your login URL will look like this:

    http://www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin

    How easy was that!

Now, let’s move on to making your new blog look gorgeous on the web.
